BUSH'S IRAQ WAR

BUSH'S IRAQ WAR
undermines U.S. national security.

There is no military solution to the problems in Iraq.   It is time to begin building peace, reconciliation and security in Iraq and the region.   We must convince our own national leadership that it is time to wage peace, instead of waging war.

A number of plans involving the withdrawal of U.S. troops and/or diplomatic means to reconcile the warring factions in Iraq have been proposed.   Important elements of these plans could be assembled into a path to peace for Iraq, and for the United States and the wider Middle East.
